Published Mar 4, 2025 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Tapjacking in Mozilla Firefox for Android before 136 allows remote attackers to launch an external app through a malicious web page. A delayed HTML select-option dialog overlays and partially obscures the Android Intent confirmation prompt while preserving an attacker-chosen tap target. The attack requires the user to visit the page and tap the deceptive option, causing an Android intent to open without informed confirmation.
