Integer underflow in Yokogawa Vnet/IP Interface Package R1.07.00 and earlier allows attackers to execute programs via crafted packets. Packet processing performs an integer underflow that permits an out-of-bounds write; Yokogawa has not disclosed the affected function or packet field. Access to an adjacent Vnet/IP network is required, and exploitation can stop Vnet/IP communications or execute code.
