Router crash via unchecked static-route list
Published Mar 4, 2025 · Updated Mar 4, 2025
Buffer overflow in Tenda TX3 16.03.13.11_multi allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via a crafted static-route request. The /goform/SetStaticRouteCfg handler copies the list parameter into a destination buffer without first validating that the supplied data fits. Access to the router's management interface is required, and the demonstrated consequence is a denial-of-service crash rather than data access or code execution.
