Code execution via invalid SLDPRT object reuse
Published May 2, 2025 · Updated May 2, 2025
Use-after-free in SLDPRT parsing in SOLIDWORKS eDrawings 2025 allows attackers to execute code through a crafted model file. The parser performs operations on an object without first validating that the object still exists, permitting reuse after it is freed. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open the crafted file, and successful execution runs in the current process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
