CVE-2025-1879

Physical disclosure via APK-embedded service credentials

Published Mar 3, 2025 · Updated Mar 4, 2025

Hard-coded credentials in the i-Drive i11 and i12 APK through 20250227 allow physically proximate attackers to read dashcam video and settings. The APK embeds plaintext credential sets used to authenticate commands to the settings service on port 9091 and the video-stream service on port 9092. Attackers must first connect to the dashcam's local Wi-Fi network; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of recordings, live video, and camera configuration.
