CVE-2025-1862Network attack vector

Administrator-authenticated RCE via unsafe BPEL filename upload

Published Sep 26, 2025 · Updated Sep 26, 2025

Arbitrary file upload in affected WSO2 server products allows remote authenticated users to execute code through the BPEL SOAP service. The endpoint fails to validate user-supplied filenames before writing an uploaded payload to a user-controlled server location. Administrative privileges are required; a crafted payload executes remotely with access to the server and its data.
