CVE-2025-1845Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via examExportPDF parameter

Published Mar 3, 2025 · Updated Mar 3, 2025

Command injection in ESAFENET DSM 3.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands through a crafted s parameter. The examExportPDF function at /admin/plan/examExportPDF incorporates the s query parameter into a command without neutralizing command separators. A low-privileged DSM session is required, and successful exploitation can read or alter data and interrupt the service.
