CVE-2025-1790

Local privilege escalation via exposed VoIPSDK DLLs

Published Feb 13, 2026 · Updated Feb 13, 2026

Execution with unnecessary privileges in Genetec Sipelia before 2.14.271 allows local users to gain elevated Windows privileges. The VoIPSDK places certain DLLs where non-administrators can access them instead of keeping them within the application's installation directory. Exploitation requires an authenticated low-privileged Windows account and grants elevated control over the affected system.
