Missing authentication in GitLab CE/EE allows remote attackers to upload arbitrary files to public projects through crafted API requests. GitLab has not disclosed the affected API endpoint or the operation that accepts an unauthenticated upload without enforcing authorization. Exploitation requires a reachable public project and permits unauthorized content storage and associated resource consumption.
