Authenticated object injection via unserialized search query

Published Feb 27, 2025 · Updated Feb 27, 2025

PHP object injection in the b1gMail 7.4.1-pl1 Admin Page allows remote authenticated users to instantiate objects via a crafted query. The users.php search handler passes the request query parameter directly to PHP unserialize(), allowing attacker-controlled object construction. Administrator access is required, and reachable gadget chains can execute application-context PHP code or affect application data and availability.
