AD account takeover via hardcoded token
Published Mar 17, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
Authentication bypass in ManageEngine Analytics Plus before 6130 allows remote attackers to take over AD-authenticated accounts. The AD authentication flow accepts a shared hardcoded token instead of using an installation-specific, securely stored key. Exposure is limited to Windows installations using AD authentication without AD SSO, and takeover exposes the targeted user's information.
