CVE-2025-1677Network attack vector

Service interruption via oversized CI pipeline export payloads

Published Apr 10, 2025 · Updated Apr 10, 2025

Denial of service in affected GitLab CE/EE releases allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service through CI pipeline exports. The export path accepts attacker-controlled oversized payloads without an effective resource limit, exhausting resources during export processing. Low-privileged access is required; GitLab has not identified the exhausted resource or whether interruption manifests as a hang or crash.
