Out-of-bounds read in Zephyr RTOS 4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to crash devices with malformed DNS answers. dns_unpack_answer calculates rem_size from the packet start without subtracting answer_offset, so later accesses read beyond the DNS answer region. No authentication or user interaction is required; a malicious DNS response can interrupt the affected device by crashing it.
