CVE-2025-1672Network attack vector

Administrator-level stored script execution via unescaped settings

Published Mar 6, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Stored XSS in Ninja Team Notibar 2.1.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through notification-bar settings. The admin settings persist attacker-controlled notification-bar content, which page rendering emits without sufficient output escaping. Administrator-level access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; scripts run in visitors’ browsers.
