Authenticated script execution via unescaped widget input
Published Apr 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Unlimited Elements For Elementor 1.5.142 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through widgets. Multiple widget render paths accept contributor-controlled values without sufficient input sanitization and emit them without adequate output escaping; public sources do not identify the individual widgets or functions. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored script runs in the browser of a user who visits the injected page, enabling actions and data access within that user's WordPress session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
