Out-of-bounds read in Autodesk Navisworks 2025 allows attackers to execute code through a malicious DWFX file opened by a user. The DWFX parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading it, permitting a read beyond the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires user interaction with crafted content and can expose process memory, crash the application, or execute code with the current process's privileges.
