Stored XSS via unescaped Accept Button Label
Published Mar 16, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
Stored XSS in Moove Agency GDPR Cookie Compliance before 4.15.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted button label. The Accept Button Label setting accepts an attribute-breaking value, which the front end renders in the consent bar without adequate sanitization or escaping. Administrator access is required, and a visitor must move the pointer over the Accept button; successful exploitation runs script in that visitor's browser even when unfiltered_html is disabled.
