Stored XSS via unsanitized hover label
Published Mar 16, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
Stored XSS in Moove Agency GDPR Cookie Compliance before 4.15.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through plugin settings. The Floating Button settings store the Button – Hover Label value without sanitization or output escaping, then place it in the front-end settings icon where an onmouseover payload runs. Administrator access, disabled unfiltered_html, cookie-consent saving, and a victim hover are required; script executes in that visitor's browser.
