Authenticated command execution via unsanitized destination address
Published Feb 24, 2025 · Updated Feb 24, 2025
OS command injection in FiberHome AN5506-01-A RP2511 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through Diagnosis. The Diagnosis page passes the Destination Address field to an operating-system command without neutralizing shell separators, so an appended command is executed. Access to the privileged management interface is required, and successful exploitation can read device files or run other commands with the management process's privileges.
