Authenticated command execution via unsanitized router password
Published Feb 24, 2025 · Updated Feb 24, 2025
OS command injection in LB-LINK BL-AC1900 1.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through its management interface. The /goform/set_manpwd handler reads routepwd with websGetVar, serializes it for bs_SetManPwd, and passes it to bl_do_system without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Low-privileged access to the web management interface is required, and injected commands run with the router service's operating-system privileges.
