Authenticated script execution via unfiltered message output
Published Feb 23, 2025 · Updated Feb 24, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Code Projects Blood Bank System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted message. The /BBfile/prostatus.php page echoes the database-backed message through echo $row['message'] without output filtering or encoding. Low-privilege access is required to supply the message, and a victim must load the affected page; script then runs in that victim's browser.
