CVE-2025-15689Network attack vector

Unauthenticated administrator access

Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026

Privilege escalation in ThemeGoods Capella 2.5.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain administrator access via unspecified vectors. The public CNA and Patchstack records identify incorrect privilege assignment but do not disclose the affected function, endpoint, or authorization check that performs the unsafe privilege change on untrusted input. No authentication or user interaction is required per the published CVSS vector, so any internet-reachable site running the theme should be treated as exposed to full WordPress site takeover.
