Stored XSS via unescaped after-label DOM insertion
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Stored XSS in Ultimate Before After Image Slider & Gallery – BEAF before 4.7.19 allows remote authenticated users to run script in viewers' browsers. The after-label value is stored without proper escaping, and the bundled client-side script inserts it into the DOM as executable content. Author-level access is required to save the payload, and any visitor who views the affected slider triggers it, including an administrator.
