CVE-2025-15642

Tamper-protection bypass via weak service DACLs

Published Jun 17, 2026 · Updated Jun 17, 2026

Incorrect permissions in Netskope Client before R138 allow local users to bypass NSClient tamper protections on Windows. Weak DACLs on the Netskoped service object and related registry keys permit administrative tampering, while the client lacks kernel-enforced self-protection. Administrative privileges are required, and the documented consequence is limited to bypassing the client's anti-tamper controls.
