Authenticated information disclosure via direct page request
Published May 9, 2026 · Updated May 9, 2026
Missing authorization in HCL BigFix WebUI allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive environmental information through a direct URL. The server does not enforce the requesting user's permissions when an authenticated session directly requests the affected WebUI page, so the page returns information otherwise hidden by the interface. Reachability requires a valid account but not the page's assigned permissions; HCL has not disclosed the page or environmental fields exposed.
