Stored script execution via unsanitized paragraph preview
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in FIT2CLOUD MaxKB 2.4.0 through 2.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to run script in victims' browsers. The paragraph creation API stores the content field without sanitization, and MdPreview renders the saved HTML when another user opens paragraph details. Dataset-management permission and victim interaction are required; injected script runs in the viewer's MaxKB origin and can alter page content or access browser-visible data.
