CVE-2025-15631

Credential recovery via legacy site-password hashing

Published Aug 3, 2026 · Updated Aug 3, 2026

Weak credential storage in TP-Link Omada devices allows attackers with stored site hashes to recover credentials for unauthorized access. The devices protect site credentials with a legacy hashing algorithm, but TP-Link has not disclosed the storage locus or algorithm. Exploitation requires high-privileged, adjacent access to stored credential data; recovered credentials enable device or management-environment access.
