Insufficient entropy in TP-Link Omada products allows attackers to decrypt controller-device adoption traffic with recovered session keys. The adoption protocol generates session encryption keys with too little entropy, making keys predictable from intercepted controller-device exchanges. Exploitation requires an adjacent-network position during device adoption and passive interaction; the reported consequence is communications disclosure.
