CVE-2025-15621

OAuth2 credential disclosure via unverified receiver

Published Apr 16, 2026 · Updated Apr 16, 2026

Insufficient credential protection in Sparx Enterprise Architect 16.1.1627 allows local users to obtain OAuth2 credentials. During OpenID authentication, the client sends OAuth2 credentials without verifying that the receiving endpoint is the intended receiver. Exploitation requires low local privileges, passive user interaction, and conditions that redirect credentials to an unintended receiver; the exposed credentials affect client and downstream confidentiality and integrity.
