CVE-2025-15612Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Build code injection via insecure curl downloads

Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026

Improper certificate validation in Wazuh Provisioning Scripts 4.1.3 through 4.13.x allows man-in-the-middle attackers to alter downloads. Affected Dockerfiles and AIX and HP-UX package-generation scripts pass -k or --insecure to curl, disabling certificate authentication before fetched CA bundles, source archives, and dependencies are used. An attacker positioned on the build network can substitute code that executes during packaging and contaminates downstream artifacts.
