Unauthenticated code execution via signed-cookie length confusion

Object injection in OpenText Directory Services before 24.4.16 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted OTDSRESULTS cookie. The cookieToMap method uses attacker-controlled segment lengths outside the HMAC, letting a shifted IV/message boundary reach ObjectInputStream.readObject. Also affected are 25.1 before 25.1.9, 25.2 before 25.2.9, 25.3 before 25.3.8, 25.4 before 25.4.5, and 26.1 before 26.1.2; default configurations expose the unauthenticated chain, which can interrupt service or elevate privileges.
