Authenticated user metadata modification via unchecked AJAX handler
Published Jan 24, 2026 · Updated Jan 24, 2026
Missing authorization in Plugins360 All-in-One Video Gallery 4.1.0 through 4.6.4 allows remote authenticated users to modify user metadata. The ajax_callback_store_user_meta() AJAX handler passes request-supplied keys and values to update_user_meta() without a capability check or key allowlist. Subscriber-level access and a valid plugin nonce are required, and writes are limited to string-based metadata on the attacker's own account.
