CVE-2025-1549Hinoki check available

Local privilege escalation via command injection

Published Oct 29, 2025 · Updated Oct 29, 2025

Command injection in WatchGuard Mobile VPN with SSL Client 12.10.5 and earlier allows local users to execute commands with elevated privileges. The Windows client's privileged command-execution path fails to neutralize locally supplied command elements; WatchGuard has not disclosed the exact bypass locus. A low-privileged Windows account is required, and successful exploitation crosses into a higher-privileged security context with command execution.
