Unauthenticated shortcode execution via unvalidated AJAX input
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
Incorrect authorization in CyberChimps Responsive Plus before 3.4.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary WordPress shortcodes. The public update_responsive_woo_free_shipping_left_shortcode AJAX action passes unvalidated content_rech_data input to the shortcode processor. The published proof of concept requires WooCommerce free shipping and an unauthenticated cart session, then returns rendered attacker-selected shortcode output.
