Subscriber-level data modification via missing capability check
Published Feb 7, 2026 · Updated Feb 7, 2026
Missing authorization in The Bucketlister 0.1.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify arbitrary bucket list items. The bucketlister_do_admin_ajax() handler processes administrative AJAX requests that add, delete, or change items without verifying the caller's capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the resulting impact is limited to unauthorized bucket-list data modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
