Booking status tampering via unauthenticated REST update
Published Mar 12, 2026 · Updated Mar 12, 2026
Missing authorization in the Timetics WordPress plugin before 1.0.52 allows remote attackers to alter booking payment and post statuses. The timetics/v1/bookings/{id}/payment REST route accepts an unauthenticated POST and applies attacker-supplied status fields to a timetics-booking record. A valid booking identifier is required, and Patchstack reports privileged-user interaction as an additional gate; the result is falsified payment and booking state.
