Authenticated directory deletion via insufficient path validation
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
Path traversal in Designing Media Eleganzo WordPress Theme 1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete server directories. The akd_required_plugin_callback function accepts an insufficiently validated path and uses the resolved directory as its deletion target. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and a crafted path can target any server directory accessible to PHP, including the WordPress root.
