Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized start_code parameter
Published Feb 21, 2025 · Updated Aug 28, 2025
OS command injection in BDCOM Behavior Management and Auditing System 20250210 allows remote attackers to execute commands via start_code. The log_operate_clear branch in /webui/modules/log/operate.mds fails to reject shell metacharacters before concatenating parsed input into an exec call. The web route requires no authentication, and successful injection runs arbitrary commands with the web-service process's privileges.
