Browser script execution via unneutralized Description parameter
Published Jan 5, 2026 · Updated Jan 5, 2026
Cross-site scripting in xnx3 Wangmarket 4.0 through 4.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via Description. The variableList function at /admin/system/variableList.do places the attacker-controlled Description value into the Backend Variable Search response without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires high-privilege access and a user to load the affected response, enabling script execution in that user's browser context.
