Stored script execution via unsanitized Description parameter
Published Jan 5, 2026 · Updated Jan 5, 2026
Stored XSS in Wangmarket 4.0 through 4.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through the System Variables page. The /admin/system/variableSave.do handler stores the Description parameter without neutralizing it before the value is rendered in another user's browser. Administrator-level access is required to submit the value, and another user must view the affected page for browser-context execution.
