Authenticated arbitrary file upload via unchecked filename
Published Jan 5, 2026 · Updated Jan 5, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in macrozheng mall at commit 994f1e2b019378ec9444cdf3fce2d5b5f72d28f0 allows remote authenticated users to store arbitrary files. MinioController.Upload concatenates the submitted filename and suffix into an object name without validating extensions or blocking traversal sequences. Low-privileged application access is required; stored dangerous files can alter hosted content, expose data, or interrupt service, while code execution depends on downstream serving and interpretation.
