Authenticated file disclosure via stored traversal path
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
Path traversal in Tammersoft Shared Files before 1.7.58 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The Shared File post handler accepts the _sf_file_uploaded_file POST value, removes no traversal segments, and stores the attacker-selected path for later download. Contributor-level access is sufficient to create or edit the record, but an administrator must publish it before the public download URL exposes the selected file.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
