Authenticated service interruption via unchecked addCommand copy
Published Jan 2, 2026 · Updated Jan 2, 2026
Buffer overflow in UTT 进取 512W 1.7.7-171114 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service via a crafted addCommand request. The formConfigCliForEngineerOnly handler passes attacker-controlled addCommand data to strcpy without checking the destination buffer size. Low-privileged web-management access is required; adjacent memory is overwritten, but the public report does not identify whether the device hangs, crashes, or reboots.
