CVE-2025-15417Public exploitNetwork attack vector

SGW-C crash via zero-flag F-TEID assertion

Published Jan 1, 2026 · Updated Jan 1, 2026

Denial of service in Open5GS 2.7.0 through 2.7.6 allows attackers to crash SGW-C via a malformed GTPv2-C request. In sgwc_s11_handle_create_session_request, a zero-address-flag F-TEID makes ogs_gtp2_f_teid_to_ip return an error that an OGS_OK assertion treats as fatal. Network access to the SGW-C GTP-C listener is required; triggering the assertion aborts the control-plane process.
