CVE-2025-15381Network attack vector

Trace disclosure and assessment writes via missing validators

Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026

Authorization bypass in MLflow allows remote authenticated users to read traces and create assessments without experiment permissions. The basic-auth application registers tracing and assessment endpoints without the permission validators that enforce experiment access. The server must run with --app-name=basic-auth; any authenticated account, including NO_PERMISSIONS, can expose trace metadata and add unauthorized assessments.
