Stored XSS in AjSeidl.com AJS Footnotes 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through plugin settings. The settings-save path accepts note_list_class and popup_display_effect_in without authorization or nonce checks, then stores and renders them without sufficient sanitization or escaping. No account is required; the injected script executes in the browser of any user who opens an affected page, enabling actions available to that user's session.
