Authenticated SSRF via unvalidated remote image URLs
Published Dec 31, 2025 · Updated Dec 31, 2025
Server-side request forgery in EyouCMS 1.7.0 through 1.7.7 allows remote authenticated users to reach internal services through image URLs. The saveRemote function in application/function.php passes attacker-controlled URLs to get_headers and readfile after checking only the HTTP prefix, response status, and image content type, without rejecting localhost, private addresses, or rebound DNS. A member or administrator session is required, and observable consequences include internal-service probing and retrieval of image-like response content.
