CVE-2025-15345Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Reflected XSS via external map script source

Published May 14, 2026 · Updated May 14, 2026

Reflected XSS in MapGeo – Interactive Geo Maps 1.6.27 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted map parameter. In the display-map shortcode's demo mode, the front-end rendering path sanitizes the map query value as text but accepts its absolute HTTP or HTTPS URL as a script source without a trusted-host allowlist. A victim must open the crafted link on a page where demo mode is enabled; the loaded JavaScript then runs in that site's browser origin and can read page data or issue same-origin requests available to the victim session.
