Local kernel crash via unchecked path copy

Stack buffer overflow in ASUS Armoury Crate 6.1.13 and earlier allows local users to crash the host through the AsIO3.sys driver. The driver's Win32PathToNtPath routine copies an executable path longer than 255 wide characters into a fixed 255-character stack buffer without a length check. An unprivileged local program can trigger a BSOD; kernel-level code execution additionally requires bypassing the security cookie.
