Local data disclosure via link following
Published Feb 5, 2026 · Updated Feb 5, 2026
Link following in Tanium Enforce 2.7.0 through 2.7.313 and 2.8.0 through 2.8.543 allows local users to read unauthorized data. The affected file-access path resolves a user-controlled link before opening its target, redirecting the read outside the intended data location. Exploitation requires low-privileged access to a system running the Tanium Client and user interaction; the reported impact is read-only disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
